I am delighted to introduce ASLIB to you. ASLIB is a long-established association that has contributed hugely to the direction of information management since it was founded nearly a century ago. The new team at ASLIB is committed to developing and improving the service that we provide to our members. It is important to us that we take the great reputation that ASLIB has built over the years and strengthen our offer. We have already developed the training programme, improved the membership magazine, Managing Information, and enhanced the membership packages. In the coming months we will be re-introducing a number of Communities of Practice and identifying ways in which we can support members in all parts of the world. We are very excited to be working with the ASLIB member community and we would be extremely interested to hear your thoughts and suggestions as to how we can make the association even more relevant to your needs. Please do get in touch with one of the team members to share your ideas.
