ASLIB SCOTTISH BRANCH

Introduction    •News & Events   •Committee Members   •Forum

The Aslib Scottish Branch is one of Aslib's regional groups and as such is not subject specific. Membership of Aslib automatically confers membership of the branch if located within Scotland.

The branch's membership is made up of a wide cross-section of organisations with an interest in the information world and which have an information unit within their organisation.

The branch's remit is to promote the work of Aslib within Scotland and to encourage networking between information professionals within the region. It is hoped that this page will enhance the networking aspects of the branch.

The branch also arranges seminars, presentations and workshops within Scotland.

Past events have included:

  • Visit to the Special Collections Library at Glasgow University
  • The Invisible Web: Where Search Engines Fear to Go
