KEITH BATCHELOR

Abstract

This paper sets out to give guidance on the formation of a records retention schedule as opposed to an archive retention schedule. It recommends headings, layouts, use of time scales and sources of information. It concludes by stating the business need in order to be seen to comply with the forthcoming Freedom of Information Act.
